2011 will be remembered by many as a year of challenges. Whilst the general motor industry has seen many troubles with slow sales and also a lack of availability through the Japanese Tsunami and lack of power through the damage to their power stations, the Classic Car world is still holding its own rather well.
Whilst we would be lying to say that we are ahead of 2010 in trading terms, our sales are still holding up extremely well, and once again the sourcing of suitable cars for our stock is proving as difficult as ever.
Still no one ever said it would be easy, and so we carry on here at Blue Butts, in the knowledge that Classic Car sales are one of the true gems of the motor industry. It is always a joy to meet enthusiastic customers always has been and always will be.
While we understand that many of you enjoy looking at cars, could I please point out that we only operate on an appointment basis. We have had a number of people who have arrived un-announced recently, and I have not been available to look after them. I travel away a lot of the time in sourcing cars for stock, and when I’m not here all cars are locked away and are therefore not available to see. So do please call us on 01200 446893 before setting out as we hate to disappoint anyone.
